Jolade is a poet, writer, director and self-taught photographer raised in Nigeria and based in East London. 

He has worked globally in places such as the USA, Bali, South Africa, Gambia, Kenya, Nigeria, and across Europe.

His work includes short films, documentaries, corporate campaigns, photography campaigns, poetry films and music videos/promos.

He has performed internationally and written poetry commissions for BET, Barbican, TFL, Ernst & Young, Roundhouse, BBC 1Xtra and many more. 

Jolade is also a Barbican Young Poet alumni, Vodafone Foundation scholar, One Young World delegate, a director at Writerz and Scribez; a CIC creative arts company, a youth mentor, poetry/film facilitator and parkour athlete/coach.
